The cost figures are estimates
Every price, range, table and calculator result on spanrate.com is an estimate compiled from published sources, and it is dated where it appears. It is not an offer, a quote, a bid, or a guarantee that any builder will sell you anything at that price. Building costs vary by region, season, site conditions, code requirements, commodity pricing, and the specific builder you hire. Two honest quotes for the same building can differ substantially, and that is normal.
Use this site to judge whether a quote is reasonable and to know which questions to ask. Do not use it as the sole basis for a purchase, a loan application, a bid you submit, or a contract you sign. Before committing money, get a written bid from a licensed builder in your jurisdiction, and confirm how long the price is honored.

Nothing here is engineering, architectural, legal, financial, tax or insurance advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Structural design, foundation specification, code compliance, permitting and zoning are decisions for a licensed professional who has seen your site. Permit and code requirements in particular vary by state, county and municipality, and they change. Verify anything on this site against your local authority having jurisdiction before you rely on it.
